You need to be a team and both of you are going to bring stuff up and neither of you can be a victim. Both of you need to be the person to help the other one.
Stephen edgington
Hear the rest of the story! This is part 2 of Stephen and Bentlee Edgington’s interview in episode 54. Bentlee shares how she had the courage to ask the question about pornography and what she was afraid of. Stephen shares that both partners can feel like victims when this challenging issue comes up, but it works better to have compassion for how hard it is for both people to talk about it.
Stephen Edgington is a BYU Pathways student working towards a degree in HR, a goal he has had for a long time. After struggling with pornography and other addictions for many years, Stephen has recently started to share his story, hoping that his example will encourage others to break the silence.
Bentlee works for Reach 10 part time as a social media assistant and works full time as a copywriter for a Utah tech company. She loves reading and picking up new hobbies.
